Day 01 : Arrival Kathmandu Airport (1,350m), transfer to hotel, welcome dinner
Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, our representative will welcome you holding a clear sign displaying your name. You’ll then be taken to your chosen hotel in the centre of the city. That evening we will provide a welcome dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant where you can taste authentic Nepali food and experience a cultural dance presentation.
Day 02 : Kathmandu valley city tour
Explore the UNESCO cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu namely: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) Boudhanath and Pashupatinath. These monuments reflect the Buddhist and Hindu cultural significances of Nepal. Professional culture guides will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and ensure you make the most out of this fantastic experience.
Day 03 : Drive to Chitwan National Park
Following breakfast in your hotel, we’ll take a drive (5 hours) to Chitwan National Park. En-route you’ll get to see native villages, view rivers between breath taking valleys and promenades. That evening, upon arrival you’ll experience your first overnight stay in a Nepalese Jungle Resort.
Day 04: Jungle Safari tour
Today consists of a full day of jungle activities. After an early morning breakfast, you’ll take a safari deep into the national park where you’ll get to see the diverse multitude of flora and fauna. Visit the habitats of the Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhino, Wild Elephant and Crocodile to name just a few. You will have the opportunity to do a jungle walk, elephant/jeep safari, canoe ride and visit an elephant breeding centre.
Day 05: Drive from Chitwan to Pokhara
For early rises we offer an early morning bird watching tour. After breakfast, we’ll then take a 5 hour drive to our next destination, Pokhara. Enjoy the scenic views en-route.
Day 06: Pokhara sightseeing tour
Today is your opportunity to spend the whole day exploring Pokhara. Our tour guide will exhibit the Davi’s Water Fall, Gupteswor Cave, Seti River gorge, Bindabasini Temple, Butterfly Museum, Barahi Temple and finally to we’ll then head to Sarangkot to see the wonderful sunset (we could also go Sarangkot for sunrise as well!)
Day 07: Drive back to Kathmandu
Today you’ll take a 6-7 hour drive through beautiful foothills, rivers, towns and forests back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Arriving in Kathmandu, you’ll then be transferred to your hotel with time to relax and reflect on an amazing adventure.
Day 08 : Final departure to sweet home
Finally our trip has come to end. One of our representative from Majestic Himalaya will drop you off at Kathmandu airport. We wish you good flight on the way to home.
