The Mardi Mountain trek is a hidden gem, explored by the few trekkers. The final destiny of this trek will be the base of Mt. Mardi and the Mt. Fishtail. The trail goes along small winding paths, through magical rhododendron forests until you climb out of the forest at an elevation around 3,300m. The landscape changes quite abruptly into a rugged high mountain landscape, with amazing views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. From High Camp(3580m) you can climb up to Mardi Himal Base Camp in about 3-4 hours, which offers spectacular close up views of the entire Annapurna Range.

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)
We will be waiting you at Kathmandu international airport holding a signboard with your full name so that you could recognize us so easily. When you come out, we will take private car to get 3*** hotel in the heart of Kathmandu city. Shortly you will do check in and get refreshed. Our tour leader Dilip will explain you about the overall glimpse of our trek then in evening we will have a fantastic welcome dinner together at one of the Nepalese famous kitchen which introduces you a very unique Nepalese cuisine.
Day 02 : Kathmandu sightseeing & getting prepared
This is the valley where flourished Buddhism and Hinduism together over the centuries. The ancient architectures of Buddhist monasteries and Hindu temples are just spectacular. As this is the capital city of Nepal, people live together from different walk of life and ethnic communities. After a breakfast, we start our guiding tour to the UNESCO world heritage sites; Kathmandu Durbar square, Monkey temple and Bouddhanath stupa; the major Buddhist sites. Also if the time permits, we do Pashupatinath temple which is the biggest Hindu holy shrine in this Indian subcontinent.
Day 03 : Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara
We take an early morning flight to Pokhara and at the same day we tour most famous following places;
1.Devis fall – It is known as Patale Chhango (waterfall), situated about 2 km south-west of Lakeside Pokhara. It has got a famous belief that a foreigner named David was swept away and never found from here. It has made gorges and flows through the caves.
2.International Mountain Museums-The International Mountain Museum is a place to get historical information of mountaineering. It includes all information about the highest peaks, climbing activities, lifestyle in the Himalayas and challenges.
3. Phewa Lake & Barahi Temple- It is a second largest lake in Nepal and a central tourist attraction in Pokhara. It is also a spot for water fun activities like boating and kayaking. The splendid views of the Annapurna Himalayan range are dazzling from the lake. Barahi temple is a famous religious monument in Pokhara, lies in the center of Phewa Lake. It is a two storied pagoda style Hindu temple.
Day 04: Drive to Kande then trek to Deurali(2232m), max 4 hrs
We drive for about 40 mins to get Kande. Then trail climbs for about 1 ½ hrs to the ridge at 2,060m. The clearing in the forest with lodge settlement is known as ‘Australian camp’. The place is scenic with the panoramic view of Annapurna range and Pokhara valley. The trail further winds through the rhododendron forest to the mountain pass called ‘Deurali’. Deurali is overlooking into the Modi Khola valley wedged between Annapurna South and Mardi Himal
Day 05: Deurali to Forest Camp (2520m), max 5 hrs trek
This morning will make us feel quite different in terms of the geography and culture. You are gradually entering into the Himalayan region. After your breakfast, we will follow a hidden trail which is very quiet and natural. There is nothing more just the sounds of birds and winds. The forests with rhododendron, mountain oak, maple, hemlock, etc. will make you feel in a wild heaven. Forest Camp is an excellent place to view the Himalaya, especially the Fishtail mountain and others.
Day 06 : Forest Camp to High Camp (3600m), max 5 hrs
Today we make our way up from Low Camp to High Camp which is very steep but rewarded with the most breathtaking views of fishtail mountain, the Annapurna Range, the valley of Annapurna Base Camp and Mardi Himal. We see the face of Annapurna South, an astounding view. As we climb the ridge becomes narrower and soon we can clearly see the deep valleys on both sides. To our left we look straight down on the Modi Khola valley and the villages leading up to the Annapurna Sanctuary; to our right we peer down on the Mardi Khola and Seti river valleys over 2000m below.
Day 07 : High Camp to Mardi View Point ((4250m) then return to High Camp
Today we will approach the highest point of our trip, the Mardi Himal Base Camp. The trail is much steep and narrower but ultimately leads through a clearly defined trail to the uppermost viewpoint on the lap of Mardi Himal. We will see glaciers, ice lakes and mountains like Dhaulagiri,Ganesh Himal,AnnapurnaI(8091m),Annapurna South (7219m), Mount Fang (7647m), Fishtail (6993m), Singachuli (6501m), Hiuchuli (6441m), Tent Peak (5695 meter),Mardi Himal (5587m), and Lamjung Himal. We will have enough time to enjoy at the base camp then return to the High Camp following same way.
Day 08 : High Camp to Jhinu Danda (1780m), max 6 hrs
We descend from Low Camp down a very steep trial through the forest. We pass a shepherds hut in a broad clearing after an hour’s hike where we can stop to rest our legs. The trial continues down steeply to the hillside village of Sidhing, about 500m above the river alley. Trek descends through the village of Landruk, an ethnic group of Gurung settlement and reach to Jhino danda. We spend our time to relax on natural hot spring there.
Day 09 : Jhinu Danda to Nayapul then drive to Pokhara, 4 hrs trek & 1 hrs drive
Today after breakfast, we will hike up to Nayapul and then take a bus ride to reach Pokhara. The trek to Nayapul is a lovely hike as you can enjoy the views of beautiful landscapes along the trail back. We will haul up for lunch on the way.
Day 10 : Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu
We fly to Kathmandu in the afternoon or early in the morning. We will have a farewell dinner in the evening.We can spend the day taking the much needed rest or catch up on some last minute shopping. Our flying to Kathmandu will give us a incredible views of sky touching Himalayas.
Day 11 : Final departure to sweet home
Our journey in Nepal comes to an end today! Majestic Himalaya representative will drop you off at the airport approximately 1 hour before your scheduled flight.
