This is a trek in the Everest region staying in comfortable lodges with visits to Sherpa villages and Buddhist monasteries. Our Ama Dablam Base Camp trek takes you to some of the prettiest Sherpa villages and to Namche Bazaar, the colourful and vibrant heart of Sherpa country. You have the opportunity to visit the main monasteries of the Khumbu region at Tengboche and Thame.This trek is a moderate walk designed for the first time trekker which follows a section of the classic Everest Base Camp trail. The mountain scenery is stunning with a range of the famous peaks visible including Everest, Ama Dablam and Thamserku.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)
We will be waiting you at Kathmandu international airport holding a signboard with your full name so that you could recognize us so easily. When you come out, we will take private car to get 3*** hotel in the heart of Kathmandu city. Shortly you will do check in and get refreshed. Our tour leader Dilip will explain you about the overall glimpse of our full 12 days tour then in evening we will have a fantastic welcome dinner together at one of the Nepalese famous kitchen which introduces you a very unique Nepalese cuisine.
Day 02 : Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,651m), 35 min flight and max 4 hrs trek
An early flight to Lukla and landing on a steep mountain runway brings us to the start of our trek at the village of Lukla. Once we reach there, you will have quick breakfast. Then we will proceed towards Phakding which is slightly downhill from Lukla, so it will be comparatively easier day in your trek.
Day 03 : Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3438m), max 6 hrs trek
Today we we walk through a beautiful Sherpa villages along the Dudh Koshi river crossing many suspension bridges. The trail climbs through the forests and bridges until we reach the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. After a final steep ascent of about two hours we get our first sight of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. Upon this juncture, we stop for a while to admire the view. We still need to hike about 1.5 hrs to reach Namche Bazaar, a trading center of Everest region.
Day 04 : Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar
This is the scheduled ‘acclimatization’ day for this trek. We either spend the day taking hiking to Thame or Khumjung or relaxing and exploring Namche Bazaar itself. We further climb up to the famous airstrip at Syangboche. Just above the airstrip is the Everest View Hotel, a Japanese scheme to build a deluxe hotel with great views of the highest mountains on Earth.
Day 05 : Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860), max 6 hrs trek
The trail leads moderately flat with superb view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and close up view of Thamserku, Khangtaiga. The trail continues wild lives spot of musk deer, colorful pheasant. Trail descend to Dudh Koshi river where few lodges and series of picturesque water driven prayer wheels. Cross suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi River a steep climb through pine and juniper forest, walk about 2 hours bring us to Tenboche. The famous Monastery with the background of Ama Dablam, Nupte, Mt. Everest and many more peaks.
Day 06 : Tengboche to Pangboche (3930m), max 3 hrs trek
Easiest walking through the alpine forest. This day we cross the bridge over the Dudhkoshi river which coming down from from Everest base camp. It just takes simply max 3 hrs very slow walking. Massive and stunning mountains can be seen on the way to Pangboche.
Day 07 : Day hike to Ama Dablam Base Camp (4600m), 6 hrs
After early breakfast, we move forward to Amadablam Base Camp with very light daypack with about 2 letters of water. After walking about 30 minute we cross over the Imja river and walk up & down hill for about 2 hours then we reach to base camp of Amadablam. The base camp doesn’t have glacier, it has all most grassy big field. After spending good amount of time at Base Camp, then we take step back to Pangbouche for the overnight stay.
Day 08 : Pangboche trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) through Tengboche (3867m), 5-6 hrs trek
Now, we are trekking back to Namche, an easier descent passing through rhododendron forest and few traditional Sherpa villages. Tengbuche is a small village with a famous monastery offering you the splendid view of Ama Dablam, green hills and river views where we stopped for lunch then we will retrace to Namche.
Day 09 : Namche Bazaar trek to Lukla (2840m), max 6 hrs trek
Following the morning breakfast, we continue our trek to Lukla along the Dudh Koshi River. The trail goes steeply downward with rocky terrain. Even though, we are walking the same route, we feel completely different then the before. We pass through the rhododendron, pine and oaks forest and several snow covered peaks.
Day 10 : Fly back to Kathmandu
In the morning, we take the tiny aircraft to flight from Lukla to Kathmandu which is very interesting scenery flight journey on the earth. After arrival in Kathmandu airport we drive you to hotel.
Day 11: Kathmandu valley sightseeing
This is the valley where flourished Buddhism and Hinduism together over the centuries. The ancient architectures of Buddhist monasteries and Hindu temples are just spectacular. As this is the capital city of Nepal, people live together from different walk of life and ethnic communities. After a breakfast, we start our guiding tour to the UNESCO world heritage sites; Kathmandu Durbar square, Monkey temple and Bouddhanath stupa; the major Buddhist sites. Also if the time permits, we do Pashupatinath temple which is the biggest Hindu holy shrine in this Indian subcontinent.
Day 12 : Final departure to sweet home
Today is last day of you stay in Nepal. We drop you off at international airport before one hour of your scheduled flight. We will you happy journey on fly back to sweet home.
